Christine & Andy- A romantic wedding in one of Corfu's most idyllic seaside venues
Christine and Andy’s love story feels straight out of a Hollywood rom-com. Though they grew up in the same neighbourhood, attended the same elementary school, and were casual acquaintances for years, nothing ever blossomed beyond mutual friendliness. That changed , when Christine posted a photo on Instagram during a power outage caused by a storm. Andy replied to her story, and their conversation quickly evolved into a realisation: they were both single. A weekend date followed, and from that moment, they were inseparable.
Andy proposed during their ski trip to the magical snowy landscapes of Morzine, France. It wasn’t on the slopes but at their hotel’s bar, where he handed Christine a Bananagrams game. Hidden among the tiles was her engagement ring. Overwhelmed with emotion, she elatedly said “yes.”
The couple decided to tie the knot on their favourite island, Corfu, which they visit frequently. Determined to curate every detail, they explored the island and handpicked a dream team of professionals, from photographer Marina Mazi, who became their trusted ally, to saxophonist Tasos Sarioglou, who brought an unforgettable charm to their reception.
The intimate ceremony, officiated by Christine’s cousin, and the reception with minimalist yet chic white-and-green floral arrangements by Rammos Floral Structures, were both held at the seafront venue, The White House at the picturesque seaside village of Kalami. The venue, nestled among olive groves with stunning views of the Ionian Sea, was love at first sight for the couple.
From the impeccably attentive staff to the enchanting ambience of a starlit sky by the sea, every detail came together to create their dream wedding. The couple exchanged vows amidst olive trees and spectacular seaviews, celebrated with family and friends in a night full of joy, laughter, and unforgettable memories by the water’s edge.
