Rallou & George - A White Wedding with an Island Feel in the Southern Peloponnese

At first glance, it could have been a wedding in the Cyclades. White flowers, sea views and a small chapel overlooking the sea created an atmosphere more often associated with the Greek islands. Yet this elegant wedding celebration took place in Kalamata, with all the charm of the Southern Peloponnese.

Designed by Noufaro Flowers, the wedding of Rallou and George reflected the couple’s vision of a white aesthetic with a contemporary, graceful and ethereal feel. The floral design combined white flowers with pistachio and matcha tones, one of the most sought-after color trends of the season. Rich in volume, texture and movement, the arrangements brought depth and character to every setting.

The ceremony took place at Akrotiri Venue, an idyllic seaside location in Kalamata overlooking the endless blue waters of the Messinian Gulf. The charming chapel and Greek island-like atmosphere provided the ideal backdrop for the floral concept.

Εthereal yet striking compositions featured pistachio-toned anthuriums, Ecuadorian roses, spider chrysanthemums, hydrangeas, gerberas and lisianthus. Distinctive foliage, including molucella and spider greens, added depth and introduced unique textures throughout the arrangements. The abundant flow and variety of flowers created a striking, multi-dimensional, visual effect, from the chapel entrance to the bridal table and guest tables.

Rallou’s bridal bouquet was the epitome of elegance and ethereal luxury. Ecuadorian white roses, lisianthus and cascading phalaenopsis orchids created a graceful silhouette, while delicate strands of hanging amaranthus added movement and grace. The neutral palette and refined textures complemented the wedding’s minimalist aesthetic, enhancing its light and sophisticated character.

The candy bar incorporated satin fabric in a matcha hue, harmonising beautifully with the overall color palette. Natural elements such as stone, concrete and white ceramic vessels completed the styling concept. This contemporary design approach by Noufaro Flowers, added another layer of texture and visual interest to the setting.

Inspired by the season’s floral trends yet interpreted with originality, the overall design conveyed a feeling of modern refined aesthetic with a setting that felt contemporary and luxurious. With a strong aesthetic identity, it perfectly reflected the elegance and finesse throughout the celebration.
