Alexia & Filippos - A Vibrant, Colorful Wedding on the Athenian Riviera
The sparkling blue waters of the Athenian Riviera, vibrant summer florals and elegant details set the scene for Alexia’s and Filippos’ wedding day. Each element reflected the couple’s joyful personality, while the breathtaking coastal scenery enhanced its Mediterranean character. Their celebration took place at the renowned Island Art & Taste, with panoramic sea views becoming an integral part of the wedding experience.
The couple wanted to experience a wedding filled with colourful flowers reflecting the relaxed beauty of the Greek summer. Blue and sky-blue tones, inspired by Alexia’s favourite colours, formed the heart of the floral palette. Paris Flowers added to the visual impact of the event by creating floral arrangements that beautifully blended orange garden roses, burgundy accents and delicate seasonal blooms into a vibrant and elegant composition. From the bride’s striking bouquet to the florals that embellished the entrance of the venue and the reception styling, every floral detail contributed to a color-drenched celebration of elegance.
The original concept wanted tall floral centerpieces displayed in elegant glass vases. However, strong winds on the wedding day led the team to redesign the reception styling. Lower arrangements preserved both the beauty of the tables and the uninterrupted views towards the sea, while the transparent glass vases, which shimmered with light, enhanced the airy atmosphere without overwhelming the setting.
Gold details, first seen on the wedding invitations, connected every decorative element throughout the celebration. Personalised wedding favors included candles with gold lids bearing the couple’s monogram. Mirrored plexiglass keepsakes displayed their symbols, a crescent moon and the infinity sign, matching the tattoos they both share.
Every aspect of this event came together under the experienced guidance of wedding planner Efi Papoutsi, whose inspired planning and aesthetic refined every detail from beginning to end. Photographer Alex Tsirouridis beautifully documented every moment of this celebration. A wedding celebration that was an expression of vibrancy, elegance and personality, a striking statement set against the endless blue of the Athenian Riviera.
