Natasa & Nikos - A Chic & Vibrant Seaside Wedding in Mykonos
Natasa and Nikos celebrated their wedding in Mykonos with a sophisticated contemporary aesthetic. It was a luxurious wedding with refined elegance, Greek island tradition and the unique energy of one of the Aegean’s most cosmopolitan islands. The wedding was planned and designed by Vanessa of DeplanV, who created a refined contemporary setting that continued from the ceremony into the evening reception. Abundant white roses, hydrangeas and sculptural floral arrangements brought texture and volume to the décor, while dark accents added definition and a sophisticated contrast. The beauty and spirit of the celebration were captured through the distinctive lens of photographer Yiannis Sotiropoulos.
Like a true star of the day, Natassa wore a spectacular Galia Lahav wedding gown, with sheer details and sparkling crystals, reflecting a modern, sophisticated style. Embroidered with three-dimensional floral appliqués over a sheer silhouette. Romantic yet distinctly contemporary, the gown complemented the clean aesthetic of the setting beautifully.
The ceremony took place outside the beautiful whitewashed chapel of Agios Ioannis Diakoftis, in a classic Cycladic setting overlooking the Aegean. Dressed in abundant white hydrangeas, the little chapel created a beautiful backdrop as Natasa and Nikos exchanged their vows surrounded by family and friends.
The celebration continued at the iconic Hippie Fish, where guests were welcomed by the delicate sounds of a live harp performance, setting the mood for the evening ahead. As the night progressed, live music and an impressive show with performers and dancers filled the seaside setting with energy and rhythm. Guests became part of a lavish celebration that brought together sophisticated styling, entertainment and the joyful spirit of a summer night in Mykonos.
