This exceptional location set the scene for a destination event where nature does much of the styling. Sea, Mediterranean greenery and changing light became part of an elegant summer celebration, from the first cocktails at sunset to dinner and dancing after dark.
This bright summer event at Ble Azure presents the venue’s distintiveness and how inspiring this setting can be. Classic Greek — White and Aegean blue — defined the palette, with strong accents of vivid fuchsia florals adding an unexpected burst of color. A stylish selection of contemporary details gave a strong sense of refinement with a fresh and relaxed perspective.
A Mediterranean Palette with Contemporary Style
The design drew its inspiration from the surroundings, rather than competing with them. A transparent structure allowed the warm sunset light to filter through, while flowing white drapes and suspended blue fabrics added movement above the tables. Against this crisp palette, vibrant fuchsia flowers added colour and energy.
Long monastery-style tables and round tables in white linen complemented the relaxed Greek Mediterranean mood. Blue and white tableware and generous arrangements of blue hydrangeas reflected the colors of the sea beyond.
This elegant event is a beautiful example of how a seaside setting can inspire the entire design. The style of the reception is fresh and refined without being overly formal.

There is something about golden hour by the sea, as the sun sets, that just can’t be described. The golden colors on the horizon drew guests who gathered by the sea for tray-passed cocktails and a wide selection of hors d’oeuvres. It created an easy transition from afternoon into evening, as guests mingled, enjoyed the view and settled into the rhythm of the celebration just before dinner started.
The Fabulous Flavors of a Celebration in Greece
One basic part of having your celebration in Greece whether it’s for business or a wedding, is savoring its renowned cuisine, sipping the local wines and celebrating with family, friends and guests.
During this elegant event, Intercatering, inspired by the Mediterranean characteristics of the setting, created a contemporary and unforgettable dining experience. A refined menu started with cocktails and creative bites inspired by traditional Greek flavors. Oyster mushrooms with Mediterranean herbs, breaded olives filled with cheese and canapés with fava mousse, braised octopus and caramelised onions presented a playful introduction to the dinner ahead.
The menu touched on fine-dining specialities, featuring langoustine paired with sweet corn velouté and yuzu, porcini risotto with truffle, and herb-crusted beef fillet with artichoke cream, mushrooms, asparagus and crisp black olive. Vegetarian and vegan choices were also included in all sections of the menu.
Dessert kept the summer mood going with strawberry pavlova and red fruit coulis, alongside bitter chocolate mousse with notes of orange.
From Golden Hour to After Dark
One of the pleasures of this seaside reception was watching the celebration setting change colors as the evening set in. At Ble Azure, daylight gradually gave way to sunset with elegantly illuminated tables, vibrant music and live performances. Dinner quickly truned into a party and after dark, the peninsula just came alive with music and dancing. This celebration just had it all. From its relaxed sunset cocktails to the haute cuisine dinner under the evening sky surrounded by the sea, Ble Azure hosted an event to remember.
