Lianne & Laine- A stylish Seafront Wedding in Corfu
There is something undeniably captivating about a wedding by the sea, a certain ease, a sense of freedom, and a natural beauty that simply captivates. At Villa Melambes in Kommeno, Leanne and Lian’s wedding became a celebration that felt glamorous, real, full of life, and infused with the beauty of Corfu.
From the very beginning, the tone was set by the couple’s arrival. They approached the villa by boat, emerging between sea and sky, in a moment that captured all eyes, spreading excitement and awe among the guests.
Designed by wdding planner Just Married in Corfu, the ceremony reflected a refined, minimalist concept. White roses, hydrangeas and delicate lisianthus were arranged with sculptural precision, enriched with olive branches and soft greenery, a signature floral design by Rizos Garden that brought a romantic Mediterranean elegance to the setting. The compositions framed the space with softness and balance, allowing the surrounding landscape to remain ever-present and unobstructed.
The reception was set with long tables styled in crisp white linens, olive-toned fabrics and delicate glassware, while gold accents added a quiet glow under the sun.
Set along the water’s edge, the spectacular views at Villa Melambes stretched across the Ionian Sea, where the landscape gently opens toward one of Corfu’s most iconic sights, the small white Church of Ypapanti, serenely resting on the water. This ever-present backdrop subtly elevated the celebration, remaining both refined and unforgettable.
As evening approached, the atmosphere shifted into a more vibrant rhythm. Under cascading lights, the celebration came alive with movement, laughter and a sense of shared joy that carried late into the night.
